Services

What we do

Plain work for real property problems — no online price games. Call for an estimate.

Forestry mulching

Mulching grinds brush, small trees, and undergrowth in place — faster than hauling everything off, and it leaves organic material on the ground. Good for fire-risk reduction, access trails, overgrown parcels, and cleaning up land so it’s usable again.

Call or text if you’re not sure mulching fits.

Excavation

Digging, grading, and earthwork for access, drainage, pads, and general property work. Tell us what you’re trying to finish — driveway, pad, cleanup after clearing — and we’ll look at the job on site.

Call for an on-site estimate

Site prep

Get land ready for a build, shop, driveway, or better access. Clearing, rough grade, and prep so the next step on your project isn’t fighting brush and stumps.

Text a few photos and the address or area.

Hazard tree removal

Dead, dying, or leaning trees that threaten a house, shop, driveway, or power line need a plan — not a guess. We’ll look at the tree and site and give you a clear estimate.

Safety first — call if a tree looks like a risk.

Reviews

What customers say

“Zack… cleared 4 acres of our 5 acre tract in 3 days… always there and got the job done.”

I would recommend this company. Zack, the owner was able to clear 4 acres of our 5 acre tract in 3 days. We originally worked with another company (Mountain Top home services) that we had to fire after a week of work. What a mess. Zack did a fantastic job to clean up his mess. He was always there and got the job done. If you need your property cleaned and live in northern Idaho, I would recommend him. Very friendly too. Also visit his wife’s coffee shop in Sandpoint.

Very professional and knowledgeable team. They recently did a great job and I'm very happy with the end result. We will definitely use them again in the future. Highly recommend!

FAQ

Common questions

Do you give free estimates?

Yes. Call, text, or send the form — we’ll follow up and, when needed, look at the property before quoting.

How should I prepare the property?

Clear access if you can (gate codes, pets put up, show us property lines if you know them). We’ll tell you anything else before the job day.

When is forestry mulching season?

We work as weather and conditions allow. Fire restrictions and deep winter can limit some jobs — call or text and we’ll tell you what makes sense right now.

Residential lots and larger parcels?

Both. Small residential cleanup through multi-acre clearing — scope depends on access, slope, and what’s growing.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Rocky Mountain Land Management is licensed and insured.

Do you serve Coeur d'Alene as well as Sandpoint?

Yes — Sandpoint, Coeur d'Alene, and nearby North Idaho. Outside that area? Ask; we'll be honest about travel.
